コロンビアベンチャーコミュニティ・ジャパンチャプター（CVC Japan）では、コロンビアビジネススクール在校生の山崎紘彰氏をお招きしてオンラインセッションを開催します。山崎氏は、コロンビアビジネススクールに入学するまでの4年半、三菱UFJモルガン・スタンレー証券 投資銀行本部 公開引受部（IPO Division）にて、日本のスタートアップのIPOコンサルティングに携わった経験を持ちます。本セッションでは、日本におけるスタートアップのIPOプロセスの基本や重要なステップについてお話いただきます。

About this Event

The Japan Chapter of Columbia Venture Community (CVC) is pleased to invite you to a virtual session with Hiroaki Yamazaki, a student at Columbia Business School (Class of 2024) and formerly Vice President, IPO Division in Investment Banking Business Unit at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities. He had been engaged in IPO consulting for startups in Japan for the last 4.5 years until he enrolled at Columbia Business School. Based on his previous work experience, he will share with us the basics and critical steps of the IPO process for startups in Japan.

Topics to be covered:

• Basic process of startup IPOs in Japan and key players involved in the process
• Key points of each step of the process, with reference to "Guidance on Financing for Startup Growth” (only in Japanese) by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
• IPO pricing process and its current structure.
